The launch of Chairish and DECASO's new augmented reality feature applies technology to the online home market to help take the guesswork out of the shopping experience. The new, easy-to-use feature solves the age-old dilemma of 'will this item work in my space?' Shoppers choose a Chairish or DECASO product they're considering and select the app's 'View In Your Space' button to activate the iPhone or iPad's camera. The selected product will appear in the camera's view, allowing you to virtually 'place' the item in your room setting. While in camera mode, the product dimensions shown are a handy reference. For shopping on the go, you can also work with saved room images from your photo library. After taking the picture, the image is saved to your camera roll and you can share it with others via email, messaging or social media. For interior designers, the new iOS feature provides a helpful way to show what pieces may look like in their clients' homes for easier decision-making.
