Multi-screen TV streaming service, Flipps, formerly iMediaShare, recently topped 8M installs following a personal investment from prominent venture capitalist, Tim Draper.

Tim Draper is founder and managing director of leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Draper's past successes include Hotmail, Digidesign, Baidu, Skype, and Tesla. Draper has stated that his goal is to support innovative companies that far exceed existing technologies.

Flipps, formerly iMediaShare, is the first device-agnostic video streaming service. Unlike many over-the-top streaming devices on the market, including Google's recent Chromecast, the Flipps mobile app doesn't require an additional set-top box or TV dongle to work. Nothing has to be installed on the TV - no hardware, no cables, no adaptors, and no TV apps. Flipps is compatible with over 250 million existing television sets including more than 4,000 models from major manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung and LG. With 8M installs to date, Flipps is already the second most popular media streaming service next to Apple TV, which currently has 13M sales to date.
