Convoy, the rapidly growing on-demand service for local and regional trucking, today announced that it has secured $16 million in Series A funding, led by Greylock Partners, and expanded service into Oregon. Reid Hoffman and Simon Rothman from Greylock Partners and Code.org co-founder Hadi Partovi joined the board. Convoy will use the additional funding to accelerate development of its technology and expand its footprint into additional regions.
