The Ambio Remote Health Monitoring System debuted at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show and was named as one of eWeek's '10 Health and Fitness Tools To Track Exercise, Chronic Conditions.' The product offers patients wireless remote health monitoring for a variety of chronic conditions including high blood pressure and diabetes. Home health readings are automatically logged and can be viewed by family members, healthcare providers and caregivers from the secure, web-based Ambio Care Portal. Individualized reminders can also be created for readings and medications that can be sent to the patient via telephone call, text message or email. The tool is HIPAA compliant.
