BRISTOL, CT, Energy management device company raised a $3 million first round of financing involving Advantage Capital Partners, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Enhanced Capital and individual investors.
Connecticut Innovations (CI), the state's quasi-public authority responsible for growing Connecticut businesses, announced on Monday it has made an investment of $1.5 million in Emme. The investment is part of a $3 million first round of financing involving Advantage Capital Partners, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Enhanced Capital and individual investors.
Emme provides easy-to-use energy management devices that help you save money and lower your home's carbon footprint. Emme Room-by-Room understands that every room has its own, unique, heating and cooling requirements. Emme Room-by-Room doesn't have to condition every room at once. Instead, it selectively conditions the rooms that need it, minimizing conditioning in the rooms that don't. It drastically reduces hot and cold spots and temperature fluctuations between levels of a home while providing easy-to-use energy saving tools.
