Clockwork, developer of technology for time-sensitive applications, has raised $21M in Series A funding led by global venture capital firm NEA with participation from well-known angel investors John Hennessey, Ram Shriram, Neeraj Bharadwaj, and Jerry Yang.
Founded by a team from Stanford University, Clockwork's technology enables time-sensitive applications in areas such as financial trading, high-tech, and online gaming. Being software-based, its solutions can run anywhere: in on-premises data centers, public clouds, or hybrid environments.
