According to published reports, ebook start-up Zola Books has secured $5.1M in seed funding, with prominent individual investors including Charles Dolan, founder of HBO. Shantaram author Gregory David Roberts was also among those supporting the venture, which already boasts Audrey Niffenegger and other writers among its investors.
