VCharge, an energy management services company, raised a $770,000 seed round from Rhode Island's non-profit venture capital firm, the Slater Technology Fund, as well as K.C. Investments and EOS Ventures.

VCharge uses decentralized, market-based principles to enable residential electric thermal storage heaters, electric cars, and other Transactive Loads to respond dynamically to grid conditions and improve overall system efficiency. VCharge technology brings real value to utilities, grid operators, and end users today and into the future.
