Optimatics is pleased to announce the company has successfully raised venture capital in its first formal funding effort. Led by Emerald Technology Ventures, a globally respected firm in intelligence infrastructure investment, the new funding will focus on continued execution of the firm's go-to-market strategy, including the addition of sales and marketing resources as well as intellectual property expansion and acceleration of the strategic roadmap.

Optimatics, a global software firm, pioneered the use of genetic algorithms to revolutionize the optimization of water systems. To date, this approach has resulted in billions of dollars of cost savings for cities and utilities worldwide.
