OrderWithMe.com, a past TechCrunch Disrupt Winner, announced yesterday its expansion to downtown Las Vegas and the closing of $6 million in a Series B funding led by a group of investors including Vegas Tech Fund, BaseVC, Tony Hsieh, and other local Las Vegas investors. This round also included previous investors Infinity Venture Partners, SOS Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.

With operations now in China and the US, OrderWithMe helps small businesses more effectively compete by streamlining their purchase orders and payments to all their vendors on one easy business-to-business platform. The business owners save substantial time by centralizing their inventory purchasing and payment activities. More importantly, businesses can then negotiate much bigger volume discounts from their suppliers by aggregating their purchase volume with others in the same industry.

'As our company continues its rapid growth, we quickly realized the need to set up a formal U.S. headquarters,' said Jonathan Jenkins, OrderWithMe's founder and CEO. 'We explored multiple cities and were about to make the move to San Francisco, and then we heard about the complete reinvention of downtown Las Vegas. Coming from China where things are booming and growing, we love that downtown Vegas now has a similar vibe of energy and change. OrderWithMe officially opened their downtown Las Vegas office on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Las Vegas city officials and Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh were among those on hand for the opening.

OrderWithMe is looking to play a central role in the downtown community by bringing together the technology companies and small businesses through events, education sessions and even hackathons focused on building solutions for the local independent businesses.
