According to published reports, Privy, a marketing startup, has raised $1.7 million in seed funding from Atlas Ventures and 500 Startups.
Privy is a customer acquisition and retention solution for multi-unit local businesses. Privy is the first plug-and-play, self-serve promotions platform that allows merchants to convert their online audience into in-store customers and remarket-able leads in two simple steps: 1) Promotions Wizard
and 2) Database Builder.
Also participating in the round were John Dais (VP Finance at Wildfire), Mike Volpe (CMO of Hubspot), Justin Kitch (founder of Homestead), Ralph James (former COO of First Marblehead), Jere Doyle (founder of Eversave) and other angel investors.
