Desktop Metal, a 3D printing startup that works with metal, has raised $14 million in VC funding. Backers include New Enterprise Associates, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Lux Capital and Bolt. Desktop Metal was founded by Ric Fulop, the founder of A123 Systems who more recently was a general partner with North Bridge Venture Partners.
