The app, which emphasizes the multimedia aspect of mobile messaging, raised the new round from Greek firms Odyssey Venture Partners and PJ Tech Catalyst. The new funds bring the startup's total amount raised to $2.2 million

Launched in July 2012, Pinnatta is the sole product of gipht.me Inc, a Delaware corporation providing unique services and products for mobile devices and social media users. The firm's headquarters are located in Sunnyvale, California while the main product development of Pinnatta takes place in Athens, Greece.
