FISHERS, IN, Bluebridge, the 3-year-old Fishers mobile app tech firm, has landed a fresh infusion of $2 million.
According to IndyStar, the new financing includes angel investor money from Scott Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of ExactTarget, now Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Other investors are Cultivation Capital of St. Louis, Allos Ventures of Carmel, and Aprimo founder Bill Godfrey.
Bluebridge said the money will be used to develop new products, plus other uses.
Bluebridge, founded by Indiana Wesleyan University graduate Santiago Jaramillo, has made a name for itself providing tourism apps for smartphones. It now calls itself the world's top supplier of tourism apps.
The upstart firm also is about to launch a mobile app content management system called Bluebridge Mobile App Studio. It lets companies and other users easily update and edit the content of their apps.
Bluebridge said it doubled its revenue and customer base from 2013 to 2014.
