SAN FRANCISCO, CA, PeerDB, the leading data movement platform for PostgreSQL, today announced it received $3.6 million in seed round funding.
Investors in the round include lead investor 8VC, Y Combinator, Wayfinder Ventures, Webb Investment Network, Flex Capital, Rogue Capital, Pioneer Fund, Orange Collective, and several angel investors.
PeerDB optimizes and accelerates data movement between PostgreSQL and data warehouses, queues, and storage engines for cost and time savings and superior data quality, AI analytics, and insights. PeerDB was founded in 2023 by two engineers who both witnessed the shortcomings of incumbent extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools for PostgreSQL and decided to fill the gap.
