PockitShip is a new startup in the on-demand pickup and delivery services industry targeting the heavy goods shipping market (i.e., >50lbs, such as furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, etc.). The company helps people move new or used items from point A to point B whether across-town or across-country in an Uber like experience. PockitShip is initially targeting the used item home-to-home market (Craigslist, eBay) and retail store-to-home customers (Costco, The Home Depot, Target) for newly purchased items.
