Founded by Udi Oster and Daniel Almog, former officers in the IDF's Unit 8200 and the entrepreneurs behind Tapingo, Aitan provides Robotic Sovereignty-as-a-Service to allied militaries and national security organizations. Aitan develops edge-AI robotic weapon systems, battle-tested since 2023 at the leading edge of modern ground combat, enabling nations to field robotic force at scale, sustain through disrupted supply chains, and evolve sovereign capabilities at the speed of the fight. Driven by a vision to deploy robotic forces that execute missions while keeping warfighters out of harm's way, Aitan is named in honor of Udi's brother, Eitan Oster, who fell in combat in 2024, and for the Hebrew word eitan, meaning resilience.
