TYNE AND WEAR, ENGLAND, North East-based web marketing software company 4th aspect has closed a POUND400,000 funding round.
North East-based web marketing software company 4th aspect has closed a POUND400,000 funding round. The investment gives 4th aspect the ability to complete on its sales strategy and scale the business to achieve its planned growth.

Having already secured POUND250,000 of investment from Rivers Capital Partners and Tweed Renaissance Investors Capital ('TRI Capital') earlier this year, the investment from the Angel CoFund has now enabled completion of the round, taking total investment into the business since its inception to approx. POUND750,000.

4th aspect's web marketing software streamlines the process of web marketing and gets brands and products in front of potential customers and ahead of competitors. The software will be used by a diverse range of companies from dedicated online businesses through to high street retailers' online operations - in fact, any business that is serious about marketing their brand and selling products via the Internet.

4th aspect was founded by husband and wife team, Claire and Dave Glynn, who set up the company in 2010 following the sale of their previous web agency after 8 years. The couple saw a gap in the market for a serious web marketing software tool that offered more than just analytics. The company now employs 7 people, including the two founder directors, and were recently joined by experienced software executive Neil Jolliffe as Sales Director. Neil brings a wealth of experience in international software sales.

4th aspect CEO, Dave Glynn, said 'This latest investment will allow us to further expand our team, develop some really innovative functionality and push our product out to a broad customer base.'
