The funding is from existing investors as well as new investor, Caleo Capital, an international private wealth advisory company. This brings total funds raised to $15 million which will be used to expand distribution, enhance the service, and make key new hires.

Jemstep has hired 17-year Silicon Valley startup veteran Mark Richards to lead product management. Richards co-founded NetMind, which sold to Intellisync (Nokia) for $800 million. He was also VP of Marketing for Aeroprise, which was acquired by BMC, and VP of Product Marketing at Intellisync. Most recently, Richards was with Sand Hill Partners, where he helped numerous technology startups launch strong products with successful business models.
